Happy Thursday Everyone! I hope you all are having an amazing week. Today’s post is a video of all my summer makes, items that I made during my summer break. I’m extremely happy that I got to sew a total of 14 garments because now that the school year has started I haven’t been able to sew a single garment. I’m teaching a new reading and writing curriculum and developing math notes this school year so I’ve been working overtime to plan, prep and grade. I’m hoping to settle into a new routine and begin sewing during the week again in the next couple of weeks.
After you’re done watching the video leave me a comment and let me know which one was your favorite.

Thank you Ernestine!
The black, purple and yellow print – cami top and maxi skirt is BEAUTIFUL!
A close second is the all yellow outfit.
I think you let the fabrics tell who you are; vivacious, friendly, outgoing, and quietly bold. And I must admit you find some of the most beautiful prints.
Congratulations on a success summer of sewing and I hope your school year will be just as rewarding.

Thank you for all the lovely compliments Deborah!
Hey Montoya,
I love all your makes!! Do I have to pick? Ok fine 🙂
I like all your skirts and especially like the Infiniti dress. So many options to wear that dress!
You have great taste in fabric! I’m like you. I buy more fabric than I sew. haha
Well done girl. I love your braids.

Hey Rosemary!!! Thank you for all the compliments!!!
So many bold, cheerful, altogether gorgeous fabrics–congrats on making every last one into something you can showcase, live!!
I’m with you on skirts being the perfect easy-wear plus nice-looking-for-work garment. And so, I had to choose a whole group as my favorite–every version of your Toya skirt! I have a BUNCH of odd-size fabrics around here that I could put to good use with your tutorial plus some length adjustments and maybe a little minor piecing.
I teach also, but there’s still another week-plus until the term begins in my district. I think you’ve convinced me to sew through those days! Great luck to you this school year!!
