Hey Everyone! Happy Thursday! Today’s post is about my all white two piece set I created using this crepe fabric from JOANN’s. I’ve been obsessed with creating matching sets lately, I like having the option to mix and match my pieces to maximize my wardrobe.
To create this two piece set, I hacked my Tory Wrap Coat pattern. The skirt is the lower portion of the coat with a waistband and zipper attached. I demonstrate how to hack the skirt in the video below. For the top I used the View A bodice and added a lining. The sash can be added to the side seams or you can attach the belt loops according to the pattern directions. The top was inspired by one of my pattern testers and fellow blogger Overdriveafter30. I love being apart of a great sewing community that uplifts and inspires one another through sewing.
