Hello Everyone. I’m back this week with another coat. This is the same coat from my very first sewing tutorial. The only modification I made was lengthening the bottom portion of the jacket by eight inches opposed to five. To create the belt closure I had to get creative. I didn’t have much fabric left over so I sewed various pieces together and had a make it work moment. The total length of the belt is about 80 inches.
Last week I had back to back parent teacher conferences. I’m truly blessed to have established great relationships with my students and their families. While the meetings with families went well, by the time I got home I had no energy to sew. However, I did cut out a few patterns that I’m testing. I’m working on a jumpsuit and dress tutorial. Once I work out the measurements I will begin recording this week.
