Happy New Year Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season. I truly enjoyed my winter break; I slept in, ate good food, spent time with my family and I finished four sewing projects. I can’t wait to share all of my new makes with you all. I’ll be editing one of the tutorials this week and will be posting it on my YouTube channel next week so stay tuned!

Today’s post is all about my gathered midi skirt. You can use my gathered maxi skirt tutorial to recreate this skirt. I measured my skirt panels to be about 5 inches past my knees opposed to measuring the panels to be maxi length.

How to Slay the Look

Fabric: White Denim  (I used 2 yards)

Shirt: Forever 21 

Shoes: Macy’s (old)

      You’re welcome and thank you for the compliments! Who knew is right! I had this denim in my stash for some pants I wanted to make about a year ago and never made them, I like the white denim because it’s not opaque like some white fabric tends to be be.
