Happy Tuesday Everyone. Today I’m bringing you look #2 from my Jamaica Trip Collection. In order to create my dress I used some gorgeous Kente print fabric from my stash and my Tory Wrap Coat pattern with a modification to the sleeve and collar.
For the sleeve I used McCall‘s M7974 (View A). I cut the size 12 sleeve. I decided to cut this size because it was close to the sizing of my Tory Wrap Coat sleeve.
Now for the collar. First, I reduced the width of the pattern piece in half. Next, I used self made bias tape to finish off the neckline of the back bodice piece. After that, I added the collar to the front bodice pieces. Then, I gathered the shoulder of the front bodice piece before attaching it to the back bodice.
