Hello Everyone! Today’s post is all about how I organized my fabric. In the video below I show how my fabric was looking a hot mess before the transformation. Pinterest is definitely my favorite app, it’s where I find the most inspiration. I found a picture of a quilters fabric organization and decided to go with the similar foam board method.
Also, a couple of days ago I updated my last blog post for my two piece set that looks like a dress. I added a video in which I discuss fabric, sizing, modifications, my mistakes, and some video footage of the garments in motion. After you’re done watching the video below, be sure to check that video out here.

Thank you Laurinda!!!
Such a great idea. I had found an idea YEARS ago from Pinterest that used a quilting board that you slid the board out after folding and the fabric was folded all the same size. I like the idea of having it on the board so you can add the amount of fabric that is there, plus my fabric is stacked on top of each other, so if I want the bottom fabric, I practically have to move the entire stack…
You totally cracked me up the way you described the fabric being spit back out. I may or may not have totally seen that in my sewing area. š¤·š»āāļøš

I need to get this done. I love how you did this. I have a bunch of USPS boxes I ordered by accident and I’m doing to give it a try with that.
