Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today’s post is all about my clutch purse that doubles as a crossbody bag. This lovely purse includes two pockets, one on the outside and one on the inside. The tabs for the straps are hidden on the inside so they are not visible when you wear the purse as a clutch. In the video tutorial below, I show you step by step how to create this beauty for yourself.
For my main fabric, I used some beautiful faux suede cheetah print fabric that I picked up from JOANN’s. All of the supplies you’ll need are listed and linked below.
Materials
- 1/2 yard of fabric
- 1/2 yard of lining
- 1/2 yard of fusible fleece
- 1/2 yard medium weight interfacing
- 1/3 yard contrasting fabric
- 9 inch metal zipper
- 2 Hooks and D Ring
- Magnetic Snap
- Leather Cord (tassel)
- Clasp (tassel)
- Jump Ring (tassel)
- Wonder Tape (optional)
- Pattern Paper (optional)

Thank you!
Just did this purse to make one like this one I want thats like 1500 bucks. I used a faux leather and noticed you didn’t have supply rough estimates so thought I’d drop a note that I spent about $50 to make this. I did add a thicker batting to the area that folds over for a puffed look which added to the price but I had plenty of materials let over to help with any mistakes as well as made a card holder which turned out ugly so I hid it in the outer pocket. Thanks for the tutorial!
