Sewing Room Tour + Giveaway

Sewing Room Tour, Sewing Room Inspiration

Hello Everyone. Today’s post is all about my sewing room. I’m giving you a full tour. Below you will find a video and pictures of the tour. Last summer I worked on putting my room together. I didn’t know how time consuming it would be to build and decorate. Let’s just say not one garment was sewn.

When looking for inspiration on how to design my room, Pinterest helped me to collect ideas and map out my plans. Below you will find links to the furniture and art that I used to decorate my room.

Sewing Room Inspiration

Desks: Ikea

Thread Board Tutorial: CRAPTASTIC

Shelving Units: Big Lots

Art: Posters, Wood signs (I asked for a custom size 10×12)

For more sewing room inspiration check out my board on Pinterest. I was thinking about doing a tutorial for the Africa art piece in my room. Comment below if you’d like to see a tutorial. The giveaway details are at the end of this post.

Love, love, love what you are doing. Thank you for inspiring me. My mother sewed all of my sister and my clothing when we were kids. She even sewed my prom dress, so I have always had a love for ANYTHING handmade. So thank you for igniting my passion.

I have had some major life changing events to happen in my life and I have found sewing to be a true outlet for me. I love to see women doing the dog on thang. Keep on inspiring and being your beautiful self. You have no idea how you have inspired me.

    Thanks again.

I really enjoyed your tour of your sewing room. I thought it was beautiful. I’m planning and prepping for my own sewing room some time in the future as well. I like the fact that you seem down to earth and humble. I like that. I pray for your continued success as well. I think that the necklace you made is stylish and unique I would like to be the one to win it. If possible can’t say off top I know what to wear with it , it would just make me challenge my self to make something to wear it with. P.S. Please keep doing tutorials I find them a lot easier to follow and understand thank you.

You are hilarious. Lol. I just got to watched the full video. I love your creativity and style. You can use makeup organizer in your draws for the pins and stuff. That necklace would look perfect with a cute white with African print skater dress. And a tutorial for the art work would be nice

I love your room setup, and I was looking for information about your cutting table. Would you mind advising where you got that from? Currently I am looking for something wide enough to accommodate cutting on a single layer without having to move the fabric.

Hi there. Thank you. I made the table using some table tops from Ikea and storage units from Lowes. I want to figure out how to make the table a little more steady because the storage units aren’t sturdy enough. When I do revamp my design I’ll be sure to show how I built the table.

Hi. I really need a table for my sewing. At the moment I use the living room floor (I feel your back pain ?) and the Kitchen table. I dont have a room just for sewing, so I’m all over the place with my stuff. I am thinking to fix me up a corner in the living room. I really like your table. How you do it when you open it up? What you have to hold it up? Permanent or movebull stuff under? I really need som tips! I got one chelf with boxes for the livingroom stuff and 2 caos boxes with my stuff (in and out, up en down ). I need something looking nice that I dont need to hide totaly. We are renting so I cant nock down any walls ?

Thank you! When I open the table its held up by some 2×4 pieces of wood that I had cut at Home Depot. I bought the table tops from Ikea, I used 30 inch hinges to connect them. I’m working on revising the table to make the base a bit more sturdy, when I update mine I’m going to do a tutorial.
